I don't know what kind of person would sleep with that kind of plushie at night ._. I would get nightmares!

Better to use the body for something artful than just letting it rot.
And yeah, a lot of taxidermy skins come from the same places.
As for using real fur to make a fursuit, that strikes me as odd; not very attractive, either.
However, as an artist and a scientist I find bones to be marvelous displays of natural design. They're beautiful, and serve their purpose so well.
Taxidermy, good taxidermy, is like life in suspended animation, stopped time. Taxidermy museums and displays in natural history museums are invaluable to an artist wanting to work from a real subject instead of a photo.
(And yes, I name mine. I treat them well and respectfully. I realize they were alive once, and for that reason deserve my honor.)
